GARDEN BASICS: VEGETABLE GARDENING – LEARN THE BASICS OF GROWING YOUR OWN VEGETABLES

Taught by the Northern Neck Extension Master Gardeners, in collaboration with Colonial Beach Greenspace,  this 3-session course is for beginning vegetable gardeners but seasoned gardeners will enjoy learning about new resources, local knowledge, and tips about growing vegetables in this region of the state. 

Session 1: Saturday, February 22, 9-11:30am:  “Planning Your Garden: What to Know Before You Plant”  Location: Colonial Buzz, 215 Washington Ave., Colonial Beach, VA.

Session 2: Saturday, March 1, 9-11:30am:  “Planting: What, Why, Where, When and HOW”. Colonial Beach Community Center, 717 Marshall Ave., Colonial Beach VA.,

Session 3: Saturday, March 8, 9-11:30am:  “Moving Towards Harvest: Maintaining Your Garden”. Colonial Beach Community Center, 717 Marshall Ave., Colonial Beach VA.

Each session is $10 per session or $25 for all three.  Space is limited and registration is required.
